website marketing
It's a truism that there is no point having a website if potential customers cannot find it. It is for this reason that the marketing of your website is just as important as its design. For instance, the majority of people - approx 95% - use a search engine to find information or products on the internet. It is no wonder then that millions of searches are performed every single day on search engines like google.com, yahoo.com, and msn.com. There are also millions of websites. For instance, there are 325,000,000 websites listed for the keyword phrase 'website design' in Google! Competitive right?
It is competitive, and we at pixelmorph recognise that in order for your website to compete effectively, an integrated marketing strategy must be implemented. In the first instance, your website must be designed with good clean code and must be full of easy to read, complete, and informative text - search engines love clean, well designed, easy to navigate, content rich websites. From this point, we utilise three main website marketing techniques: Search Engine Optimisation(SEO), Search Engine Submission(SES), Reciprocal and Inbound Linking, & Pay-Per-Click and Paid Inclusion.
search engine optimisation (SEO)
POA
Search engine optimisation is a technical art. At pixelmorph it begins
with keyword research and planning - using information that you have provided
- by a qualified SEO technician. This enables the technician to make informed
comparisons with your key competitors and similar websites to determine keyword
relevancy, to evaluate the competition, and to suggest additional keyword
modifiers. The technician will also cross check the resultant 'keyword list'
with your website's content and make changes to improve your site's performance.
All websites created by pixelmorph have already had basic SEO done, but we
do offer a higher level of service to current clients for a competitive fee
and we also provide our search engine optimisation services to established
websites. Due to the fact that a website's design, level of complexity, size,
and the type and number of keywords and key phrases are variable, the amount
of search engine optimisation needed for any particular web site is also variable.
One size definitely does not fit all, so search engine optimisation strategies
for your website are quoted on an individual basis. Contact
us here for more information.
search engine submission (SES)
£95
Because websites receive over 95% of their traffic from search engines
and directories it is vitally important that your website is submitted by
a professional. All search engines and directories have different rules and
procedures to adhere to and if you break their rules or fail to follow their
procedures your website may not ever be listed, or even worse, it could be
completely banned. It is for this reason that we only submit your optimised
website to the 15 major engines and free directories: Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves,
DMOZ, etc.
For a once off fee of £95 we will manually submit your web site to the
15 major Search engines and directories. Why only 15? Because 99% of internet
traffic comes from these sources. So, yes there are 1000s of search engines
out there but 985 of them really aren't worthy of your attention! We also
submit your website by hand to ensure that your site isn't penalized for software
based or automated submission: the main search engines actually discourage
automated submissions to reduce the amount of spam they receive. After submission
you will receive a html report which lists all of the major search engines
and free directories that our technician submitted your site to. We will also
provide a monthly search engine ranking report, on request, which will detail
where and at what position your site is listed. All submissions are completed
within 24 hours.
reciprocal and inbound links
£250
Reciprocal linking or inbound linking is another vital element in
an integrated marketing campaign. Not only can it increase the number of visitors
who arrive at your website(visitors can click on your link which is located
on another website), it can also increase the importance, and therefore ranking,
of your site in the search engine's eyes. Reciprocal linking occurs when you
'swap' links with another website, and inbound linking is when a website links
to your website without you providing a link to theirs. Having a large number
of relevant websites linking to you shows the major search engines that your
site is popular - hence the term 'link popularity'. However, it is important
to recognise that the quality of themed incoming links is more valuable than
the quantity of incoming links. And that's where our technicians come in,
as they have the knowledge to avoid sourcing links from what the search engines
term 'bad neighbourhoods'.
For £250 we set ourselves a target of finding 25 highly targeted, relevant,
and safe reciprocal and inbound links for your website. This fee includes
everything that you need, including researching your industry or market, the
identification of appropriate sites(ideally with a PageRank of 3 or more),
contacting the site's webmaster, adding the agreed links to your website,
and adding your link to relevant industry based directories. 25 links is our
minimum, but if you want more than 25 links contact
us and we'll most likely give you a special rate! This is a complete solution
where everything is taken care of.
pay per click and paid inclusion
POA
There are several options that we can consult on and arrange when
it comes to pay per click solutions and guaranteed inclusion into certain
search engines and directories. The pay per click option is attractive to
consumers as they can find exactly what they are looking for very quickly,
whereas for advertisers it is attractive because they only pay for pre-qualified
traffic on a per-click basis. This is a win-win situation for both the consumer
and the business! And as you bid on the keyword/s through an auction like
process you can quite easily archive the number 1 position. Other advantages
include almost instantaneous listing ranging from a few hours to a few days,
and it is also effective, reliable, and cost-efficient as you only pay when
someone actually clicks through to your site. Prices for this service vary
according to the pay per click search engine and the scale of the advertising
campaign so please contact us here for more information.
Paid contextual advertising, or paid inclusion, is an ideal solution for businesses
who need guaranteed and continued inclusion quickly. Paying for your listing
not only guarantees that your site will be included in the search engine or
directory it also ensures that your site will be listed in a very short time:
somewhere between 48 hours and 1 week. Prices for this service vary according
to the search engine so please contact us here
for more information.
